Your newsletter always ends up in my SPAM folder (ISP is Netscape). I contacted Netscape about this and they told me how to write a filter, which I did. Didn't do any good though, your newsletter still goes into the SPAM folder, but I regularly check this anyway.

I don't know why it is listing us as spam. Below are some possibilities. Spam filters are not always accurate, that is why I do not use one (when my email provider puts me on spam filters without asking me, I make them take me off). It is great that spam filters filter out much of the spam, but they also filter out good emails. We do not and have never sent out spam.
Some internet providers mark our newsletters as spam because our newsletters are sent from a website and not from an individual.
SpamCop often lists us as spam because someone maliciously subscribed a few of their spam stops in our list and SpamCop will not help me remove them.
Yahoo always lists us as spam and I don't know why (I suspect it has to do with some negative things I have said in our newsletter about Yahoo).
Some of our newsletters which expose certain spam and virus emails are blocked because they have the text of those spam and virus emails in them.
Some spam filters list us as spam because our email provider which has a separate IP address than us has had customers that have been listed as sending out spam.
With other spam filters that block our newsletters, I have checked their website and they list us as not sending out spam, but we still are blocked.
I am sure there are many more reasons why our newsletter is blocked or shown as spam.
I've been using an add-on for Eudora, Spamnix. It is an adaptive program that learns when I classify a new message as spam or mark a message sent to the junk folder as 'not spam.' It is now about 99% accurate, with the major exceptions coming from new e-mail. I worry I'll not be able to continue using it when Eudora goes to a new version.
Please note that if your internet provider or email provider is blocking or marking an email as spam (which that is where most emails are blocked), it does not matter which email program you are using. Outlook Express does not block any emails unless you tell it to, so like Thunderbird it never lists my newsletters as spam either.
