I have a dell dimension 4550 with win xp sp2 OS. Recently both my dvd & cd drive create a problem when I eject a disk from either drive. At first everything would lock up after a disk eject. So I went in and uninstalled the drivers and then let Win re-install the drivers. Now my keyboard and mouse work but I can't access any programs after I eject a disk. I must turn off the power and then turn on power and reboot. Everything works just fine. My programs will work just fine as long as I don't eject from the drives. So far all the different types of disks seem to play just fine on either drive. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
